About the Role:
VU is seeking a enthusiastic and dedicated Outreach & Future Student Coordinator who will play a key role in raising awareness and understanding of VU and study options among prospective Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
In this role you will plan and coordinate the delivery of the Universitys Moondani Balluk Future Student Program an integral component of our First Nations Action Plan. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting and empowering future Indigenous students in their higher education journey.
This is a full time continuing position at an HEP 7 classification with the salary range being $97863 $105932 plus 17% superannuation working 36.75 (1.0 FTE) hours per week.
About You:
We are looking for someone with experience of working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and communitybased organisations with a deep understanding of the unique challengesthey face in their daily lives and operations as well as a strong commitment to working collaboratively with them to build tertiary study aspirations and awareness of opportunities.
You have strong organisational skills and are skilled in planning and coordinating future student programs and have a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously meeting critical deadlines in a fastpaced organizational environment.
You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) with the ability to engage and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
