Job Description

Overview

CBO Team Lead

Are you a motivated leader ready to make an impact Were seeking a dynamic and energetic Team Lead to oversee our Patient Account Representatives (PAR) in Canonsburg PA. In this key leadership role you will drive team performance ensure compliance standards are met and foster a positive growthfocused environment for our Collection Team. Responsibilities

  • Guide and mentor Patient Account Representatives (PARs) to align with company goals and standards.
  • Partner with the CBO Supervisor to recommend strategies offer counseling and provide coaching to boost team performance.
  • Maintain indepth knowledge of Collection Team processes and lead communication and training on current procedures and policies.
  • Oversee adherence to collections protocols including negotiating settlements with attorneys for litigated cases.
  • Manage service queue accounts work files AR aging reports and zeropay reports for designated clinics.
  • Provide targeted support and training to PARs working within the same database.
  • Work closely with the Supervisor/Manager to identify and address specific payer challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with data integrity cash flow and customer service standards in alignment with HIPAA regulations.
  • Take on additional tasks or special projects as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

High School diploma or equivalent.
1 year of Customer Service experience

Preferred:

Minimum three to five years in a highvolume reimbursement environment.
Minimum three to five years of training experience.
Strong interpersonal oral and written communication skills.
Ability to organize prioritize and manage multiple projects.
Interpersonal skills that foster participation teamwork and development.
Proficiency in Windowsbased office technologies.
