Job Description

Title: Certified Surgical First Assistant CSFA

Employment Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday through Friday primarily 8hour shifts between 6:00 am 5:00 pm

Oncall rotation for afterhours weekends and holidays

City: Bettendorf

State: Iowa

Position Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Surgical First Assistant to join our dynamic team! In this role you will participate and provide essential intraoperative assistance to surgeons while maintaining a sterile field and ensuring optimal patient care. You will participate in the room setup preprocedure preparations intraoperative positioning prepping and draping and room turnover. Additional responsibilities include participating in oncall duties as scheduled and working closely with providers and clinical staff in the clinic. ORA holds all our staff members accountable for providing highlevel care maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations.

Requirements:

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent as well as the successful completion of an accredited surgical first assisting program. Current surgical first assist certification is required along with the ability to stand walk sit squat and pull push and lift over 50 pounds. One year of prior orthopedic surgical firstassist experience is preferred. A successful candidate will display excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients and their families. This position requires travel to both of ORAs ASC locations and Quad City area hospitals in both Iowa and Illinois.

The pay range displayed for this position represents the pay range for all positions that are classified in this job grade. Individual pay will depend on a wide range of factors such as candidate skills experience qualifications education location licensure certification requirements and alignment with company benchmarks.
