Chef Luxury Care Home

15 per hour

Are you a passionate Chef looking for a rewarding role in a warm and welcoming environment Our client a luxury care home is seeking a dedicated and creative Chef to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to bring culinary expertise to a setting where quality nutrition and resident satisfaction are at the heart of everything they do.

As a Chef you will play a crucial role in delivering nutritious wellbalanced meals that cater to the diverse dietary needs of residents. Working in a stateoftheart kitchen you will lead meal planning food preparation and kitchen management while ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

What Were Looking For

  • Experience & Training Previous experience as a Chef ideally in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
  • Certifications Qualification in Food Preparation/Catering and a Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Culinary Expertise Strong cooking skills knowledge of diverse cuisines and ability to create balanced menus.
  • Health & Safety Knowledge Understanding of food safety hygiene and health regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Menu Planning & Preparation Create and cook nutritious visually appealing meals tailored to residents dietary needs and preferences.
  • Stock & Budget Management Monitor inventory order supplies and ensure costeffective meal preparation.
  • Hygiene & Safety Compliance Maintain a clean organized kitchen and adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Team Leadership Train support and oversee kitchen staff to ensure efficient and highquality service.
  • Resident Engagement Build positive relationships with residents and respond to their dietary feedback and requests.
