Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Senior Sales Executive with a strong track record in software sales to join our leadership sales team. This is a fastgrowing software company at the forefront of digital innovation with a strong product portfolio and a collaborative ambitious team culture. This is a highimpact highreward role offering the autonomy to make a real difference and shape the next phase of our growth. The ideal candidate will bring 15 years of experience in enterprise software or IT solutions sales with a proven ability to consistently close large complex deals and ideally having billed $1M gross profit annually.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Drive revenue growth through strategic sales of enterprise software solutions across South Africa and broader regions as applicable.
  • Client Acquisition & Retention: Identify pursue and close new enterprise accounts while deepening relationships with existing clients.
  • Quota Attainment: Consistently meet or exceed annual sales quotas (targeting $1M GP).
  • Solution Selling: Consultatively sell complex IT software products and solutions tailored to clients needs and environments.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a strong qualified sales pipeline and accurate forecasting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Navigate Clevel conversations and influence decisionmaking across IT procurement and business leadership.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with presales marketing product and delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction and solution alignment.
  • Market Insight: Monitor industry trends competitor activity and evolving client needs to refine gotomarket strategy.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years software sales experience with a strong emphasis on enterpriselevel accounts.
  • Proven track record of individual annual sales of $1M in gross profit or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise software sales including SaaS cloud solutions and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrable ability to manage long complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent relationshipbuilding and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with CRM tools
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with experience in executivelevel engagements.
  • Selfstarter mindset with high levels of motivation resilience and autonomy.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business IT or related field
  • Experience in the South African and broader African enterprise software market.
  • Exposure to verticals such as finance telecoms etc
