Position
Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) is currently accepting applications for a Maintenance & Operations Supervisorposition.Applications will be screened after the following filing deadlines at 5PM:

The Maintenance and Operations Supervisor class is the supervisory class in the series and is distinguished from the next lowerlevel class of Senior Maintenance and Operations Technician as the latter has no supervisory responsibilities. There is an increased level of equipment operation tasks required of the class. Under direction supervises staff engaged in maintenance repair minor construction and/or inspection of assigned underground pipelines. This position is also responsible for prechecking and customer service for the wastewater collection systems of the Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer).
Minimum Qualifications:Either: 1. The Grade 3 California Water Environmental Association (CWEA) Collection System Maintenance Certification
AND
Two (2) years of fulltime paid experience with SacSewer in the Senior Maintenance and Operations Technician class Maintenance and Operations Technician class Underground Construction & Maintenance Supervisor class or Underground Construction & Maintenance Specialist class.
Or: 2. Three (3) years of fulltime paid experience in the public or private sector as a lead worker and/or supervisor over crews performing inspection planning/scheduling and/or general oversite of the maintenance construction repair or cleaning of wastewater collection systems.
Note: Completion of 60 semester units or more (or 90 quarter units or more) at an accredited trade school junior college or university with a minimum of 30 semester units (or 45 quarter units) in mechanicalelectrical technology construction management civil engineering or other field closely related to the intent of the class may be substituted for one year of experience.
