Job Summary

The Contracting Specialist position is responsible for processing contracting paperwork for agents. This role will serve as a resource for agents throughout the contracting process.

At Diversified we come together as a team each day in office to serve in the companys mission to help Americans plan for the better days ahead.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process agent contracting requests.

  • Verify all contracts supporting documentation incomplete contracts and agent releases are received.

  • Communicate with agents on escalated or incomplete contracting issues.

  • Obtain agent releases as needed.

  • Provide status updates to agents once contracting is completed and approved.

  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication with team members.

  • Make necessary updates in the companys CRM regarding agent changes.

Primary Skills & Requirements:

  • High school diploma general education degree or equivalent.

  • Insurance industry experience is preferred but not required.

  • Highly organized with superior attention to details.

  • Excellent telephone oral and written communication skills.

  • Proven to be a highly dependable independent worker and selfmotivator.

  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.

  • Must possess proficient computer skills and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Windowbased applications.

  • Ensure excellent service is rendered to business clients agents and insurance representatives.

  • Ability to manage a variety of tasks and set priorities to meet often demanding deadlines; while keeping goals objectives priorities and timelines in perspective.

  • Ability to always work as a team player while following team concepts in supporting company goals and colleagues.

  • Ability to work and resolve issues independently.
