Job Description
Accountant Asset Management
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with the calculation and review of the portfolios ECL allowance process.
- Review and maintain monthly portfolio performance returns and benchmarks from managers.
- Assist with the quarterly 10Q / 10K disclosure preparation.
- Analyze data and explain investment results via commentary.
- Document maintain and report findings to immediate manager.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly investment reporting on a GAAP basis.
- Prepare journal entries and account review for business units.
- Prepare reconciliations and research outofbalances by running queries and analyzing PeopleSoft accounts.
- Communicate effectively with all business partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business with a major in Accounting or Finance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer skills with an ability to learn investment related accounting software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Microsoft Word and Excel experience required
- Demonstrated problemsolving skills
