Job Description:
- Learns and applies the techniques and functions of a polysomnography technologist. Learns basic anatomy and physiology as it applies to polysomnography technology.
- Provides appropriate patient care and communication explaining procedures and documenting patients status and clinical history.
- Performs administrative duties such as answering phones scheduling procedures facilitating equipment and patient transportation maintaining departmental records processing patient charge information and attending to front office responsibilities.
- Maintains supply inventory ordering supplies and keeping equipment calibrated and clean.
- Participates in conferences technical meetings and other educational activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Education Requirement:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelors Degree in Health Sciences or related field preferred.

Current CPR certification required.
