Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a positive working relationship with all clients families and the office team.
- Assisting clients with adult daily living activities listed on their personalized care plan.
- Personal care including bathing dressing incontinent care and feeding.
- Assist with transfers ambulation and use of lifting devices when needed.
- Meal prep and light housekeeping including laundry.
- Grocery shopping/running quick local errands.
- Companionship
- Promote the personal dignity of each client by ensuring privacy and treating them with respect.
- oneonone assistance to clients in the comfort of their own homes.
- Medication reminders
- Other essential duties listed on the clients plan of care.
Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- A drivers license in good standing
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass criminal background and professional reference checks.
- Previous home care experience (preferred)
- Physically able to bend stoop and lift to 50 lbs.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred); Home Health Aide (required).HOMEMAKERS DO NOT NEED A CERTIFICATION
- Supportive Home Care Aide certification is a plus
- Ability to respect the confidentiality of patients and families
