Job Summary:
- This Distribution Manager (3rd Shift) serves as a frontline leader directly guiding and developing 12 hourly associates. This role provides guidance and supervision to ensure the accomplishment of distribution center goals including those related to budget and cost structure.
Additional Info:
- This role is based in Morton IL and does not offer relocation
- This role is 3rd shift: SundayThursday 11pm7am
- This role is 100% onsite with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules
What You Will Do:
- Making workflow decisions under the direction of management. Improving service levels and costs for distribution center operations.
- Supervising and motivating distribution center employees through effective coaching and training clear communication of job expectations and positive reinforcement of exemplary performance; maintaining a positive distribution center working environment.
- Implementing productivity quality and service standards. Resolving problems and identifying areas for improvements. Contributing performance data to strategic plans and reviews.
- Ensuring all equipment receives preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary.
- Adhering to requirements and procedures for safety regulations.
What You Have (Required Skills):
- Leadership:Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting embracing and achieving objectives while having a longterm perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
- Coaching Others: Knowledge of coaching and mentoring concepts and methods; ability to encourage motivate and guide individuals in learning and improving effectiveness.
- Materials Handling and Management: Knowledge of material handling and management in plants; ability to perform monitor and improve processes related to storage transportation and handling of raw and hazardous materials
- Customer Service Management: Knowledge of customer service priorities and ability to utilize tools and techniques for maintaining an environment where all understand and are committed to providing excellent service to internal and external customers.
- Warehouse Management: Knowledge of the policies processes and systems of warehouse management; ability to effectively manage one or more warehouses or distribution centers

- Microsoft applications knowledge
- DIQ (Dematic IQ)
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

Summary Pay Range:
