EB Business Resilience Lead

The Euroclear Banks (EB) Business Resilience Center of Excellence is a central team and seeks a versatile and goalfocused EB Business Resilience Lead with practical approach extensive knowledge of various EB business services and strong project management abilities. The Business Resilience Center of Excellence team within the EB CTO office works with multiple collaborators to improve EBs operational resilience. They focus on preventing and managing business continuity situations.

To strengthen the team we are looking to recruit a polyvalent Business Resilience Lead. This person combines result orientation a handson attitude knowledge of EBs business operations complex analysis and project management skills. To be successful in your role you are wellorganized and possess strong influencing and impacting as well as presentational skills.

Role and Responsibilities:

In the role you join a motivated and dynamic team contributing to bring the Euroclear Banks Business Resilience to the next level of maturity by:

• Strengthening the resilience of our business divisions across various aspects including governance identification detection recovery and resolution.
• Assisting in the regular review and implementation of Policies/Procedures Standards and related compliance attestations required by regulations and the industry.
• Ensuring assurance reporting and adequate recording of issues and control gaps challenging the reported mitigation of risks where necessary.
• Assisting with various Resolution and Resilience projects and action plans. Monitoring project progress and change management progress and coordinating with collaborators across different divisions of the Group while considering our companys interests.
• Partnering with different business divisions to identify and prioritize critical processes systems and data and creating plans and strategies to ensure their uninterrupted continuity even in Resolution.
• Advising Coordinating and Ensuring the implementation of Business Resilience measures for Euroclear Bank in collaboration with the departmental Business Resilience Managers community and Group Business Resilience team.
• Increasing awareness at EB on the content and importance of Business Resilience matters. Influencing risk awareness and approach aligned with our FMI status.
• Identifying control gaps and issues in IT Security Resolution and Business Resilience domains and connecting with experts for resolution.
• Being part of a small team we expect you to be eager to contribute and collaborate on any other tasks within our scope.

Required Qualification

You have at minimum 10 years of relevant experience preferably from several EB business lines.

• We are looking for someone with expertise in governance who has passion for understanding and translating regulatory and policy requirements into practical pragmatic and prioritized implementations helping to make resilience a competitive advantage for our business.
• You have a risk and control demeanor with a critical eye when conducting risk assessments and working on risk reduction initiatives. Previous experience and understanding of risk management frameworks and/or contribution to risk reduction initiatives and change/project management is a plus.
• You have the ability and curiosity to understand EB IT system landscape operational processes and people behaviors to correctly contribute to the solutions and action plans delivery.
• Skilled in English communication both written and verbal can optimally engage with collaborators customers partners and team members. Capable of delivering concise reports that incorporate the essence for diverse audiences.
• You are proactive a selfstarter and can work with limited direct supervision.
• Committed to achieving results and driven to consistently improve and build a positive impact.
• You possess strong analytical skills allowing you to review various documents with a critical eye while considering the broader perspective.
• Strong organizational awareness emotional intelligence and sensitivity with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with multiple collaborators simultaneously.
• Agility and ability to cover a wide range of unrelated topics in parallel.
