Duties & Responsibilities

What youll do:

As the Head of Asset Management you will play a pivotal role in leading the development and implementation of asset management strategies. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal return on investment through effective deployment of a substantial property infrastructure and equipment portfolio. Your role will involve determining appropriate frameworks processes and standards for the acquisition and disposal of assets. You will also provide strategic advice to the Executive Team to support the implementation of effective asset management principles across the organisation.

  • Develop and implement the companys asset management plans and strategy.
  • Lead implementation of asset management and maintenance programmes.
  • Determine appropriate frameworks processes and standards for the acquisition and disposal of assets.
  • Provide strategic advice to the Executive Team.
  • Perform financial analyses and asset management analyses.
  • Develop recommendations related to portfolio profile deployment redeployment acquisition disposal or retirement of specific major assets.

Desired Experience & Qualification

What you bring:

As the ideal candidate for the Head of Asset Management position you are a Chartered Accountant with at least 3 years experience in finance. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills which enable you to communicate effectively at an executive level. Your strong leadership skills allow you to guide your team towards achieving organisational goals. You possess strong problemsolving skills which enable you to navigate complex situations effectively. Additionally your strong negotiation skills aid in conflict management within your team.

  • Chartered Accountant with at least 3 years experience in finance.
  • Ability to communicate at Executive level.
  • Proficient in MS Word MS Excel MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong problemsolving skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and conflict management skills.
  • Skilled in financial modelling.
