How do you excel in this position
The Sheet Metal Foreman is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the field execution of HVAC and ducting projects by maintaining strong communication with general contractors and ensuring that all project components are in place for successful completion. This role requires the ability to initiate contact with the general contractors project manager or superintendent arrange site visits and establish a collaborative working relationship from the start of the project. The foreman must ensure the job file includes a clean set of plans and specifications final scope and proposal estimated cost breakdown and project schedule. Additional responsibilities include conducting turnover meetings evaluating site conditions requesting submittals collecting drawings performing material takeoffs identifying potential problem areas and monitoring labor performance and project progress throughout the duration of the job.
What are we looking for
- Five (5) years of relevant work experience is required.
- Strong communication (oral and written) and customer service skills are required.
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
