Job Overview:
The Senior Clinical Staff Educator develops implements and provides staff education and competency related to assigned projects. Focus will be on onboarding of clinical field nurses including new grads. Acts as educator to improve and enhance functional capabilities of all licensed and nonlicensed personnel and volunteers by the provision of orientation continuing education and inservice programs.
Location: Lowell MA
Hours: PartTime 24 Hour Days
RN with minimum 12 years home care experience.
12 years experience in staff education teaching or training across multidisciplinary clinical domains (preferred)
Prior management experience (desired).
BSN required.
Licensed in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Prior experience in EPIC (preferred)
EPIC Dorothy and Comfort credentialing (preferred)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook Word Power Point and Excel.
Able to communicate appropriately to all levels of staff clinical leadership and executive leadership.
Selfdirected creative initiative to develop educational programs.
Ability to read/write and communicate in English.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
High level organizational time management problem solving and priority setting skills.
Assist in the assessment of staff education needs audit results from clinical record reviews patient satisfaction surveys incident reports and external auditors.
Provide and/or arrange for Inservice Programs to meet staff needs as identified in surveys needs assessments strategic plans etc.
Assure appropriate documentation for Inservice Programs.
Incorporates the principles of adult learning into educational and training sessions.
Oversee educational process for clinical regulatory areas (CMS DPH as required)
Determine any additional education needs of staff and meet as necessary with department managers and administration to accomplish this goal.
Assess training needs based on the needs of staff referral sources and changes in home care
Develop programs in response to identified staff and agencywide needs.
