Job Description
Rate of Pay:
$14.05per hour
Schedule:
June 16th through August 29th
Mon Fri 8 am 4:30 pm (including 30 minutes for lunch)
Position:Technician Assistant
Function:Provide assistance to the IMTC team with processing installing and troubleshooting hardware and software. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
The Instructional Media and Technology Center is looking for students to help us out over the summer. These are paid positions that offer fulltime work over the summer and then the opportunity to be a technology aide next academic year (for elective credit).
Responsibilities:Support the IMTC team in processing hardware software and other systems; Organize and maintain IMTC resources; Perform minor repairs to equipment and arrange for other servicing needs; Identify and report system issues to IMTC staff; Assist in maintaining inventory records and documentation for equipment; Maintains open communication and positive working relationship with staff; Perform other duties/projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to function as an individual contributor and/or a member of a team;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Computer skills required;
- Time management skills;
- Taskoriented;
- Ability to work in a procedurebased environment;
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective relationship with other employees and the public;
- Ability to read and comprehend instructional manuals;
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be a current student at Klamath Union High School or EagleRidge High School
- Preference will be given to applicants that currently possess a valid drivers license
