Location: Remote Flyin Camp British Columbia
Rotation:3 weeks in 3 weeks out Rotation
Background Checks: Drug & Alcohol screening and criminal record check will be conducted

Position Overview:
Tamatta Mining & Construction is recruiting for one of our esteemed clients seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals for an immediate opening as a Electrician at a flyin camp in the breathtaking region of Terrace British Columbia. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a stunning environment while contributing to important projects in the mining and construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Inspecting troubleshooting maintaining and repairing electrical components.
- Testing circuits and connections using electrical test equipment.
- Inspecting equipment and ensuring proper maintenance and repairs are completed while adhering to timelines and budget restrictions.
- Responsible for ordering electrical parts
- Preparation and site cleanup including rubbish removal.
- Proficient with building code regulations as it relates to worksite building electrical assembly and repairs.
- Assist in the completion of all necessary documentation as per process / protocol to ensure cost effectiveness and budget allocation.
- Provide quality workmanship consistent with industry standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Understand the basics of reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Participate in daily Toolbox meetings and support monthly worksite inspections.
- Perform tasks according to safe work practices and safe job procedures.
- Notify Manager of unsafe practices and unsafe environment.
- Report all incidents and accidents immediately.
- Actively participate as a high performing team member.
Required Knowledge & Experience
- Minimum of one (3) year working in a construction field electrician in a camp environment
- Certified Journeyman Electrician (Red Seal) required.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work a rotation schedule.
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
- Physically able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Able to walk and stand for long periods of time and perform physical labor.
- Ability to maintain a high level of performance over a 10 12 hour shift.
