Role Overview
We are looking for a versatile Fullstack Engineer passionate about scaling systems and crafting experiences to power HIVEDs emissionfree parcel delivery network.
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer you will play a key role across the entire tech stack owning the full software development lifecyclefrom discovery and design to deployment and monitoring. You will have a tangible impact on HIVEDs platform driving scalability maintainability and performance across both backend services and frontend applications.
Your team will tackle complex routing and optimisation challenges build intelligent address and parcellocating solutions enhance internal operations tooling develop our native driver app to increase delivery efficiency and more. We reimagine parcel delivery from scratchbuilt on a modern tech stack with sustainability flexibility and scale at the core.
Responsibilities
- Design implement and maintain scalable solutions across the entire tech stack ensuring seamless and intuitive user experiences.
- Plan and lead projects along with other software engineers product managers and end users.
- Maintain and optimise existing infrastructure including integrations with thirdparty services.
- Improve and scale engineering processes tools and standards.
- Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers within the team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role with 5 years of experience.
- Proficiency in writing clean performant and testable code in typed languages.
- Experience with building distributed systems and working with cloud platforms (AWS).
- Expertise in architecting designing and building React applications.
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
