Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow CMDB/ITOM Developer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. This role involves collaborating with various departments to understand requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions. The candidate must possess a Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification from ServiceNow and have specific experience in ServiceNow CMDB ITOM and Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement solutions within the ServiceNow platform including custom applications workflows and integrations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and resolve production problems related to the ServiceNow platform.
  • Review code ensure quality standards are met and provide technical guidance to the development team.
  • Manage development projects including planning scoping resource allocation and delivery timelines.
  • Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features and functionalities proposing enhancements and upgrades.
  • Coach and mentor junior ServiceNow developers transferring knowledge and best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow CMDB ITOM and Asset Management modules to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Implement and manage ITOM processes including event management discovery and service mapping.
  • Optimize asset management processes within ServiceNow to track and manage IT assets effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  • Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification from ServiceNow.
  • Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification from ITOM module (CIS: Event Management CIS : Discovery CIS : Service Mapping) or ITAM Module (CIS: SAM CIS: HAM) specifically.
  • Proven experience with ServiceNow platform development including scripting languages and architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in objectoriented programming concepts data structures and best practices for software design.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor development teams manage complex projects and make technical decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams stakeholders and senior management.
  • Specific experience in ServiceNow CMDB ITOM and Asset Management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Additional ServiceNow certifications are a plus.
