What youll do at Nexus
As a Head of Engineering team you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our roadmap and departmental goals are met. You will steer your teams in the right direction aligning with our overall strategic mission and longterm goals. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a productive and innovative environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Be an exceptional leader for two outstanding teams. This includes longterm planning as well as daytoday activities such as standups supporting the teams and ensuring they have the right foundation to complete their tasks.
- Handle all people management tasks including continuous dialogue with team members through 1on1s and performance reviews.
- Ensure the alignment of all ways of working including processes tools and methodologies.
- Work closely with various internal and external partners to optimize processes and ensure effective communication between departments.
- Drive incidents and improvements within your teams ensuring swift resolution and continuous enhancement.

About you

Qualifications
- You bring several years of experience as an Engineering Manager in the software industry demonstrating your ability to lead and inspire teams.
- You possess relevant management experience with full people responsibility showcasing your capability to drive team success and accountability.
- You thrive in this role by having a genuine passion for coaching teams and individuals fostering growth and development.
- You have a good understanding of our tech stack enabling you to guide technical decisions and support your teams effectively.
- You have a working proficiency level in English ensuring clear and effective communication within the teams and with stakeholders.
