We seek a motivated and resultsdriven Business Development Manager specializing in franchise development. The ideal candidate will manage the complete franchise lead process ensure maximum conversions and identify new franchise opportunities across various regions. This role requires a proactive approach to building relationships and expanding our franchise network.
Key Responsibilities
- Franchise Lead Management: Oversee all aspects of franchise lead management ensuring effective communication and maximum conversion rates based on established criteria.
- Network Development: Identify and develop new franchise networks across the region utilizing vendor networks and other sources for mapping potential franchisees or dealers.
- Market Identification: Conduct market research to identify new territories and markets for expansion focusing on client needs and demands.
- Healthcare Network Building: Collaborate with retail store operations to build a healthcare network that supports franchisee operations.
- Store Operations Management: Manage new store operations including performance evaluation and coordination between franchisees and the support team to ensure smooth operations.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare detailed reports to assist senior management in planning and forecasting market trends and trade opportunities.
- Industry Representation: Attend expos and exhibitions on behalf of the company actively seeking opportunities to promote the brand and secure participation in relevant events.
- Brand Development: Work towards building the brand value of the organization through strategic initiatives and partnerships.
- MOU Targets: Meet monthly and annual targets for signing Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with potential franchise partners.
- Location Approval: Identify and approve suitable locations for new stores based on market analysis.
- Regular Market Research: Conduct ongoing market research to understand competitive dynamics and prepare future strategies.
- Franchise Support: Provide comprehensive preopening and postopening support to franchisees ensuring they have the necessary resources for success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Business Marketing or a related field; Master s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or franchise management preferably within the insurance sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing successful business strategies.
- Strong understanding of the insurance industry and franchise operations.
- Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
- Selfmotivated with a creative approach to developing new markets.
Skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills for market analysis and strategy development.
- Ability to build strong professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Work Environment The role may require travel to various locations for meetings expos and site evaluations. Flexibility in working hours may be necessary to accommodate different time zones or client schedules.
