Job Description
bout the Role:
Were looking for a skilled and detailoriented Engineer to join our team at Wyndham Garden Pittsburgh Airport. In this role youll focus on preventative and restorative maintenance for hotel rooms. Youll complete specific tasks to ensure each room meets high standards for quality and functionality contributing to a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a list of maintenance tasks for each room to keep things running smoothly.
- Inspect hotel room infrastructure and address any issues that arise.
- Ensure the hotel adheres to safety standards and protocols.
- Work closely with the engineering team to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Provide regular updates to the Facilities Manager on progress.
Daily Tasks Include:
- Remove and replace bathroom floor grout.
- Replace caulk around bathtubs toilets and sinks.
- Prep and glaze tubs as needed.
- Repair drywall and walls in bathrooms and rooms.
- Tighten or reinstall wall vinyl.
- Check and adjust guest room doors/locks.
- Repaint walls or ceilings as needed.
- Touch up furniture and doors.
- Ensure electrical outlets are powered and level.
- Clean carpets and return furniture to original positions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in general maintenance engineering or a related field.
- Strong problemsolving skills and great attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently.
- Familiarity with hotel infrastructure and systems is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that involve lifting bending and standing for extended periods.
