Partnering with clients to achieve the best solutions from acquisitions divestments and capital raising we advise across the transaction value chain on deal origination and evaluation due diligence corporate finance structuring deal execution posttransaction integration and value realisation. This team is part of the wider Deals team which collectively brings deep industry experience and international networks to help businesses succeed from deal concept to deal close.

As a Manager you will:

  • Lead the execution of sellside buyside origination capital raising and strategic reviews.

  • Influence and contribute to the decision making of key senior stakeholders through presentations and communications on deals proposals and structures

  • Collaborate with and project manage specialists across a range of disciplines (such as legal tax and transaction services) to deliver an integrated deals solution for our clients

  • Harness stakeholder relationships developed through transaction execution and strong deal flow to be a key part of the origination of further M&A activities

  • Support and contribute to business development activities and preparation of proposal documentation with senior team members.

  • Draft and review marketing materials including Teaser Documents Information Memoranda Management Presentations Process Letters and Term Sheets

  • Conduct financial analysis and build financial models

You will help our team deliver innovative deal solutions to our clients providing advice and support from initiation through to deal completion. This role offers you the opportunity to develop your execution and client coverage capabilities across a broad range of areas including M&A strategic reviews and capital raisings.

As a Manager in our M&A team you will demonstrate:

  • a strong theoretical understanding of corporate finance and M&A advisory with transactions experience from an investment bank boutique consulting firm big four consulting corporate finance firm or law firm

  • the ability to develop integrated financial models for business valuation cash flow or financial analysis

  • strong business acumen and proven ability to support the deal process;

  • project management and multitasking ability as a team player with strong organisational skills;

  • a strong sense of integrity and show care for the people you work with.

  • Ideally you will have completed your Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business degree (or other related degree) coupled with further study (e.g. having completed or studying towards a Masters of Applied Finance CFA and/or CA).
