Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Manager to lead a team responsible for structural modifications and depotlevel maintenance. In this role youll oversee production schedules quality and costsdriving operational improvements and ensuring ontime delivery. Youll lead a skilled team and collaborate across departments vendors and customers to improve systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of professionals handling aircraft structural modifications.
Oversee production operations ensuring quality budget and schedule goals are met.
Analyze performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality process and efficiency.
Support crossfunctional efforts in areas like materials manufacturing systems and process reengineering.
Communicate effectively with internal teams leadership and external customers.
Essential Functions:
Assist in the development of performance metrics in key areas such as Quality Cost and Schedule.
Analyze such metrics and be able to identify trends and provide corrective action when applicable
Facilitate selfdirected work teams provide training in core skills areas to team members and peers and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning problem resolution and process improvement
Support production business and other processes in a teambased manufacturing environment
Perform activities in a variety of crossfunctional areas including total quality management manufacturing systems material management and process reengineering
Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge of aviation maintenance (e.g. FAA Partetc.) management and leadership.
Bachelors Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience. OR Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. OR in lieu of a degree minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of aircraft Electrical and/or Structural modifications and assemblies.
Demonstrated experience navigating aircraft schematics and maintenance manuals as required.
Demonstrated experience planning for depotlevel maintenance and baseline modifications on various airframes.
Ability to work off shifts and overtime as business demands
Preferred Additional Skills:
Active OR Prior Security Clearance (Secret or higher)
Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel.
