Job Description
Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Manager
Job Responsibilities & Position Details:
Design and prepare fabrication welding and busbar drawings for production
Develop mechanical layouts for LV MV and HV panel structures
Work on new product development and prototyping for type testing
Revise and optimize existing drawings for value addition
Coordinate with production and quality teams to ensure manufacturability
Ensure compliance with applicable design standards and certifications
Lead and mentor junior designers (for Manager role)
Maintain accurate documentation of revisions and design changes
Requirements
Requirements:
Educational Qualification: ITI / Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical or any relevant degree
Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD SolidWorks and MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint)
Industry Experience: Minimum 3 years in electrical panel design (LT HT or HV switchgear panels)
Other Requirements:
Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles
Familiarity with electrical panel manufacturing processes
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines
