We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Educator / Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly nursery team in Leeds. In this role you will:
- Provide highquality childcare and a stimulating curriculum to support children s emotional social physical and intellectual development.
- Assist with planning and delivering a broad balanced curriculum in line with national and local standards (EYFS).
- Support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including developing and implementing Individual Education Plans.
- Build positive relationships with parents carers and professionals offering advice and attending meetings as needed.
- Prepare reports to support children s transition to school and participate in educational visits ensuring health and safety at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of children s progress and act as a key person for a group of children.
- Supervise and support students on placement providing feedback and guidance.
- Promote and uphold nursery policies including safeguarding equal opportunities health and safety and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (e.g. NNEB CACHE Diploma BTEC NVQ 3 or equivalent).
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting is desirable.
- Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to keep accurate records and write reports.
- Commitment to safeguarding inclusion and promoting positive behaviour.
- Physically able to lift and handle children and equipment.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

- Salary: 24277 per annum (pro rata for parttime)
- 37.5 hours per week flexible shifts between 7.45am 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
