Information Risk & Governance Control Analyst
Be part of a hybrid opportunity in Torontos dynamic insurance industry focusing on technology risk and governance. This midsenior level contract role combines cybersecurity audit and compliance expertise supporting strategic risk management initiatives within a global organization.
What is in it for you:
Salaried: $7080 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $8595 per hour.
6month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
Hybrid work: inoffice Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:
Identify and analyze control gaps within IT systems and processes.
Document control descriptions and processes.
Conduct IT control testing and reporting.
Maintain accurate records in compliance with SOX and audit standards.
Support initiative risk assessments and control selfassessments.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelor s degree in MIS Computer Information Sciences or a related field.
4 years in a governance control or risk management role.
Strong understanding of technology and cybersecurity risk management.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Experience with IT control testing and reporting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
Familiarity with data analysis tools.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to challenge assumptions and handle complex documentation.
