Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to the Group Information Security Policy and other policies mandated by the Group.
- Correlate various sources of cyber threat intelligence to conduct in depth research documentation and analysis of cyber risks impacting the Bank and our customers.
- Identify and track cyber threats and proactively research new threats and establish trends and pattens leveraging on past and active incidents to predict future events that will impact the Bank and its customers.
- Manage indicators of compromise threat intelligence collection and correlation to geographies where the Bank is present.
- Stay uptodate and evaluate security trends evolving threats risks and vulnerabilities and apply tools to evaluate the risk in the context of the Financial Services sector to mitigate risk.
- Synthesize and analyze sharing data and relevant commercial and opensource feeds to provide trending analysis and a regular weekly report to various interested parties.
- Provide support and participate in investigating incidents
- Perform quality assurance checks by leveraging security consoles from various security tools and technologies.
- Work as part of a team and cooperate with the SOC management and internal stakeholders to ensure 24/7 protection of the Bank s assets.
Requirements
Knowledge & Skills
- A strong technical and handson experience in cyber threat intelligence.
Ability to multitask prioritise and deliver on multiple competing deliverables in a fastpaced environment. - Ability to work independently
- Analytical background with the ability to analyse and interpret large and complex data sets of threat intelligence and articulate observations conclusions and recommendations.
- In depth experience of technologies including but not limited to firewalls
- IDS/IPS Active Directory endpoint protection Windows Server Linux
- TCP/IP Networks Cloud CDNs and Vulnerability Management.
- Scripting experience with any of the following: JavaScript Python PowerShell among others.
- High level of personal integrity as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity.
- Must be able to communicate across all levels of the organization from nontech end user community to csuite audiences.
- Must be a critical thinker with strong problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Should possess excellent communication and presentation skills
- Should be emotionally intelligent
- Should possess strong people skills
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Qualification
- Degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Security or a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Relevant security certifications e.g. CISSP SSCP CEH GCIH or GCIA.
- 5 or more years of experience
- Being multilingual is an added advantage
