1. Responsible for integrated strategy for products.
2. Product strategy to cover all aspects What is the product What is to be made Where it is to be produced and What kind of value it can create for the organization Risks and Mitigation strategies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders in the frontend and development organization
3. Develop thought process towards optimization of the strategy by connecting diverse requirements across markets and develop a roadmap of the product relevant to each market in collaboration with relavant stakeholders within the development as well as the frontend teams
4. Define & govern critical decision points over product life cycle development to commercialization & beyond
5. Provide clarity on all dimensions of the product strategy to all impacted stakeholders
Financial Modeling and ValuationOwning the models for set of assets & strategic action such as In/ Out licensing
1. Financial Modeling Develop and own detailed valuation models for various molecules / technologies that enable critical decisions such as Pipeline Prioritization In/Out Licensing and various startegic actions
2. Analog Identification and assessment Development of financial models and validation based on analog identification and validation of the same
3. Assumption Development for Modelling Work with subject matter experts from various functions and front end teams as well as through analytics develop assumptions and scenarios
4. Long Term Forecasting Understand the therapy area and predict long term potential of the molecule based on qualitative and quantitative assessment of the molecule/ therapy area
Portfolio prioritisationSupport the head of Portfilio strategy Strategy & Product steering comittee in prioritization of molecules for early development
Responsible for ensuring portfolio prioritization for early stage work initiated in Product Development
Establish processes for monitoring and updating decisions based on significant changes in program valuation
Databased contributor to recommendations and framing of portfolio choices
Provide domain/functional input (content) into strategic portfolio assessments
Enabling Strategy Execution
1. Work with Program management office to ensure creation of integrated execution plan delivering the product requirements by market
2. Support R&D budget optimization portfolio prioritization as well as LCM strategies to drive alignment between frontend and development organization
Qualifications :
Preferred to have 35 years of experience in portfolio management/ BD expected to do hands on work.
Must have hands on work experience or knack for financial modeling and Strong analytical approach
Proficency in MS Excel Powerpoint is a must
SQL and Database Development and Management / Advanced analytics experience is preferred
