What You Can Expect

As the Hedging & Risk Advisor you will support ENGIE North Americas Renewable Energy and Battery Storage operations by managing market risks strengthening governance frameworks and providing datadriven strategic insights. Youll identify and monitor risk exposures including asset intermittency financial hedges energy attributes and preCOD risks while collaborating closely with Finance and Asset Management to optimize asset performance and revenue forecasting.

Additionally youll drive innovation by automating risk management processes enhancing digital tools for visibility and analytics and developing tailored hedging strategies addressing curtailment basis and capacity risks. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders including trading and risk committees to identify and implement crosscommodity hedging opportunities that maximize financial outcomes.

• Oversee risk governance frameworks and ensure alignment with ENGIEs risk mandates and hedging approvals
• Identify and monitor market exposures across asset generation PPAs and financial hedges
• Develop tools and dashboards for risk visibility financial modeling and operational benchmarking
• Design implement and optimize hedging strategies across energy attributes curtailment and crosscommodity exposures

What Youll Bring

• A minimum of a bachelors degree in finance economic mathematics or a related field
• A minmum of seven (7) years experience in market risk analysis hedging or energy sector role
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills; proficiency in data visualization tools and systems (Python Microsoft Fabric PowerBI)
• Familiarity with renewable energy markets

Compensation

Salary Range: $113900 $174570 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal state and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography experience education internal pay alignment or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
