Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Manchester to assist with the appointment of a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant on a 1month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 12.21 15.18 per Hour
Summary:
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant or Pharmacy Technician to support dispensary operations and ensure accurate handling and dispensing of NHS and private prescriptions. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with legal and professional standards and contributing to the safe delivery of pharmacy services.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense medications ensuring compliance with NHS/private prescription requirements
- Support the delivery of all pharmacy services where appropriate
- Provide safe and accurate advice to patients and customers
- Maintain efficient dispensary operations minimizing dispensing losses
- Handle stock management including ordering labelling and endorsing prescriptions
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services / Dispensing Assistant qualification via a GPhC accredited route
- Valid NHS Smartcard
Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a community pharmacy setting
- Experience using Pharmacy Manager software is desirable

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an Enhanced DBS
