Production Specialist Sign & Graphics Calgary AB
Are you passionate about handson work creative problemsolving and delivering topquality results Join our dynamic team as a Production Specialist at our growing Calgary sign and graphics shop!
About the Role
As a Production Specialist youll be at the heart of our operationpreparing materials producing signage and graphics and ensuring every project exceeds client expectations. Youll work both in our shop and onsite handling installations deliveries and inspections. This is a varied fastpaced role thats perfect for someone who enjoys both craftsmanship and customer interaction.
What Youll Do
Prepare substrates and media and produce all graphic/signage jobs according to work orders and timelines
Install signage and graphics at client sites and deliver completed orders as needed
Assist with onsite signage inspections and measurements
Operate and maintain wideformat printers vinyl plotters laminators and other production equipment
Use small power tools and perform light carpentry as required
Ensure all jobs meet our high standards for quality accuracy and safety
Keep the production area organized and inventory wellmanaged
Support walkin clients answer phones and provide excellent customer service
Serve as a backup to the Production Manager and collaborate with the team to meet deadlines
What You Bring
Experience in the sign/graphics industry is a strong asset but were open to training the right candidate
Knowledge of sign industry substrates media and products is a plus
Proficiency with design software (Adobe Illustrator Photoshop InDesign Acrobat FlexiSign)
Experience operating wideformat printers vinyl plotters laminators and/or CNC routers is a bonus
Strong communication skillsboth written and verbal
High attention to detail and a knack for multitasking
Ability to work independently and as part of a closeknit team
Positive professional attitude and a commitment to customer service
Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and using power tools
Strong mathematical skills (high school level)
Valid drivers license preferred
