A partner hospital in Brandon FL is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This leadership position is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled veterinarian to deliver outstanding patient care while guiding and managing a team in a modern supportive environment.
Medical Care: Provide comprehensive medical care including diagnosis treatment and surgery for a variety of animals
Surgical & Procedural Care: Perform surgeries and medical procedures to address patients needs
Team Leadership: Manage and lead the veterinary team ensuring efficient operations and highquality care
Treatment Plans: Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each patient
Client Education: Educate clients on pet care treatment options and preventive care
Collaboration: Work closely with the practice manager and leadership team to align goals and maintain the hospitals high standards of care
DVM (or equivalent) degree from an AVMAaccredited college
At least 5 years of veterinary experience with a focus on handson clinical skills
Strong clinical skills in diagnosing treating and performing surgeries
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both clients and staff
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting
Active Florida license in good standing (or ability to obtain)
