Full time DVM: Lead Veterinarian New Opportunity Great Salary SignOn Bonus Brandon FL

A partner hospital in Brandon FL is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This leadership position is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled veterinarian to deliver outstanding patient care while guiding and managing a team in a modern supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Medical Care: Provide comprehensive medical care including diagnosis treatment and surgery for a variety of animals

  • Surgical & Procedural Care: Perform surgeries and medical procedures to address patients needs

  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead the veterinary team ensuring efficient operations and highquality care

  • Treatment Plans: Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to each patient

  • Client Education: Educate clients on pet care treatment options and preventive care

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the practice manager and leadership team to align goals and maintain the hospitals high standards of care

Qualifications:

  • DVM (or equivalent) degree from an AVMAaccredited college

  • At least 5 years of veterinary experience with a focus on handson clinical skills

  • Strong clinical skills in diagnosing treating and performing surgeries

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both clients and staff

  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team setting

  • Active Florida license in good standing (or ability to obtain)
