Responsibilities Include:
o Adhere to IATF16949 work instructions
o Adhere to ISO14001 work instructions and training
o Read and follow all job related work instructions.
o Observe & follow all safety procedures and guidelines when performing work to avoid injury to self and other employees
o Daily inspections of plant and machinery specifically bearings gear reducers belts couplings and alignment and repair of same including completion of daily check list
o Rebuild equipment as needed
o Maintain shot blasts and associated equipment (Dust Collectors etc.)
o Make necessary building repairs
o Install new equipment as needed
o Fabricate from wood or steel any new or replacement equipment from design drawings or instruction
o Ability to weld and do layout work as well as torch cutting
o Provide own tools (personal hand tools)
o Repair yard cranes (except electrical)
o Must have ability to complete rigging tasks
o Must have basic computer skills for work order entry and completion
o Must be able to obtain a forklift and/or manlift licenses from CWC safety department
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Position Requirements:
- Candidate must have at a minimum a Journeyman Card or 6 years of practical Maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility.
