PATH is seeking candidates passionate about helping others make a positive change in their lives to join our Procurement team as the Purchasing Coordinator at the Los Angeles RHC office location.
ABOUT PATH
Since its foundation in 1984 PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) has pioneered bold and effective approaches to assist people experiencing homelessness. PATH operates services throughout California connecting our clients to a comprehensive continuum of homelessness prevention street outreach employment preparation and placement assistance individualized case management supportive services interim housing and permanent supportive housing.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Purchasing Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the procurement and vendor coordination of PATH. This position assists the Associate Director of Purchasing in overseeing procurement operations across multiple sites ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines and facilitating effective communication with vendors. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational time management and interpersonal skills. Position Responsibilities include:
- Track requisitions for ongoing requests for goods/service delivery.
- Coordinate with vendors to maintain accounts communicate challenges push to management for negotiations and escalated matters.
- Assist supervisor with inventory management/replenishment across multiple PATH sites.
- Assist with managing department external inbox.
- Submit purchasing card expenses weekly.
- Process returns and credits.
- Work on special projects as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in big budget complex nonprofit grant invoicing and compliance.
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct accounting software.
- Familiarity with various federal state county and city grant financial requirements and systems
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or a related field
- One (1) years of experience in finance accounting or a related field
- OR in lieu of formal education: Three (3) years of experience in in finance accounting or arelated field
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Regardless of qualifications candidates must:
- Have employment eligibility verification
- Have or be able and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid training
- Successfully complete the following as a condition of hire:

DRIVING
Driving is an essential function of this position. To meet the employment requirements for this role all candidates must:
- Have reliable transportation
- A valid drivers license
- Proof of insurance and ownership for personal vehicles used during work duties
- The ability to qualify for PATHs insurance coverage
