Were looking for an Expansion Manager to help us find and secure toptier charging locations in and around Madrid strengthening Fastneds position as the goto charging provider in Spainand Europe!
Your role
As an Expansion Manager youll focus on securing prime real estate in hightraffic areas ensuring our stations are visible accessible and built for longterm success. Youll work closely with landowners developers and retailers to forge strategic partnerships helping Fastned solidify its position as the leading charging network in the region.
To secure the best locations we expect you to implement a strong network development plan. You will be responsible to shape your own network and expansion efforts and to think strategically on how you approach the various stakeholders in and outside of your network
Working as part of a dynamic international team youll also help streamline processes to maximise efficiency and effectiveness. Youll become an expert in the future of emobility and charging infrastructure collaborating with subject matter experts to sharpen your knowledge and lead negotiations with confidence.
Dont worry your onboarding will include masterclasses on emobility and fastcharging so youll be ready to hit the ground running and shape the future of mobility by bringing essential charging infrastructure to key locations.
This role is based in Madrid Spain where youll join a fun diverse team spread across Europe. Youll have the unique opportunity to learn about and contribute to an industry driven by the future making a real impact on the energy transition!
Who we are looking for
In order to be successful in this role you have to be a convincing business developer and networker with outstanding people skills. You bring along experience with negotiations as you will need to be at ease when negotiating with both governmental bodies and private landowners. You find the right balance between strategic thinking commercial judgment and the drive to make a difference. You are a real people person have a nose for business opportunities and you love to push projects through until success.
To succeed in this role you need to be a strong networker and negotiator. Youll be responsible for communicating Fastneds vision to landowners real estate companies and government bodies while supporting the teams expansion efforts.
3 years of work experience in a relevant commercial role preferably in an international setting
Strong Real estate and contract knowledge (commercial planning and legal aspects)
Salesdriven and resultsoriented with strong commercial acumen
Proven negotiation skills comfortable dealing with both governmental bodies and private landowners
An affinity with commercial and financial concepts or a willingness to learn
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English
Willingness to travel regularly within Spain and occasionally throughout Europe
A natural curiosity and passion for learning and taking on new challenges
A strong motivation to accelerate the energy transition
Nice to Have
An existing network of key private and public stakeholders in real estate developers energy infrastructure transport or emobility sectors within Spain
Previous experience in expansion or real estate with a strong desire to deepen expertise
Experience in highgrowth companies or renewable energy
