Through our National Immigration Support Service (NISS) we provide compassionate culturally safe and traumainformed support to asylum seekers and refugees living in the Australian community. We walk alongside individuals and families on their journey helping them navigate what can be complex and challenging systems and empowering them to reach their goals one step at a time.
About the role
In this role you will provide clinical assessments support & evidencebased therapy to asylum seekers and refugees. This includes;
This position will also provide training and guidance to caseworkers and staff on therapeutic approaches and incident management. This role is key in helping clients within our program navigate life transitions improve their mental health and achieve their goals while waiting for visa decisions.
This is a Permanent FullTime position based from either our Sunshine or Dandenong office with flexibility to work from office and home.
Skills & Experience
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check VICWorking with Children Check and registration on the VIC Residential Carer Workers register (WCES)
