Minimum requiredqualifications:

  • Bachelorsdegree in mechanical or aerospaceengineering
  • 5 years of experience in the field of modification and/orrepair of airframe structure
  • 5 years of experience in stress analysis
  • Good communication skills in dealing with management experts and internal/externalcustomers
  • Catia V5 or V6experience
  • Functional knowledge of English andFrench.
  • Prior management experience is aplus

Sommaire destches :

Le titulaire de ce poste assurera la supervision du groupe des rparations structurales. Ce groupe dingnierie est responsable de llaboration dinstructions de rparation certifies pour les appareils commerciaux en service (appareils lgers intermdiaires et moyens). Ce groupe est form de concepteurs et danalyste de contraintes structurelles daronefs. Le gestionnaire est appel assurer la direction technique du groupe et servir dintermdiaire auprs de lingnieur en chef et du groupe de soutien technique. Il assumera galement de lintgration et de la maintenance des processus afin de supporter les activits du groupe.

Sommaire desresponsabilits

  • Diriger lquipe de rparation structurale ainsi que fournir la direction les objectifs et la vision de lorganisation Solutions Client.
  • En collaboration avec lingnieur en chef grer les besoins la performance et les plans de carrire.
  • Travailler avec lingnieur en chef ltablissement de procdures et de processus pour simplifier les interfaces lintrieur et lextrieur du groupe notamment :
  • Politique relative aux rparations
  • laboration de manuel de rparation standard
  • Fournir une direction technique afin dassurer la robustesse la qualit et lefficacit des activits de conception de lquipe et notamment servir dintermdiaire auprs desresponsables de comptences techniques et des dlgus lacertification
  • Collaborer avec les reprsentantsdu groupesoutien technique relativement toutes les demandes derparation
  • Suivre de prs les mesures significatives pour le groupe des rparations structurales produire des rapports sur les mesures pour les intervenants et viser lamlioration continue
  • Grer les budgets les calendriers et les exigences en matire de mainduvre dugroupe

Summary of jobdescription

The incumbent will supervise the Structural Field Repair Group (SFRG). This engineering group is responsible for creating certified repair instructions for the inservice commercial aircraft(light intermediate and medium). The group consists of both designers and stress engineers. The manager will be expected to lead the group technically and be the interface with the Legacy Chief Engineer and the Product Support Engineers. This person will also manage the integration and maintenance of processes into the group to support the business.

The incumbent will perform the followingtasks:

  • Lead the SFRG team and providethedirection objectives and visionof the Customer Solutions organization.
  • Work with the Chief Engineer to manage the needs performance and individual careers of the team members.
  • Work with the Legacy Chief Engineer to establish procedures and processes to streamline interfaces inside and outside the repair group including:
  • General RepairPolicy
  • Standard Repair Manual (SRM) development andstrategy
  • Provide technical leadership to ensure the robustness quality and efficiency of the teams design activities including liaising with Tech Competency Leads and certification delegates
  • Collaborate with Product Support Engineering on all repairrequests
  • Monitor meaningful metrics report out on metrics to stakeholders and strive for continuousimprovement
  • Manage the budgets schedules and manpower requirements of thegroup
