Job Description
A wellestablished partner hospital is seeking a fulltime Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its team in Providence RI / Greenville RI / Smithfield RI. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled veterinarian who is committed to delivering highquality care to animals in need. The ideal candidate will have a DVM degree and experience in urgent care with the ability to work independently and compassionately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional medical care to animals in an urgent care setting.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of illnesses and injuries.
- Administer medications and treatments as necessary.
- Perform surgeries as needed.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
- Communicate effectively with clients about their pets health and treatment plans.

Skills Knowledge & Expertise:
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMAaccredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
- Active veterinary license in good standing in the state of Rhode Island (or ability to obtain one).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a wide range of urgent care cases including surgeries.
