Job Description
Calling all New Grad Nurse superstars! Imagine starting your career in the thriving Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. The Bone Marrow Transplant department is a pioneering center dedicated to providing cuttingedge treatment and care for patients with hematological disorders and malignancies. With a multidisciplinary team of experts and stateoftheart facilities they specialize in bone marrow and stem cell transplantation offering hope and advanced therapies to patients facing these complex medical challenges.
New Graduate Nurse Residency Program
Over the course of the first three months youll have the opportunity to integrate both theory and skills by engaging in live specialtytrack clinical academies. These academies will be led by a dedicated team of nurse educators who will guide you through the process.
Continuing from months 3 to 12 youll be actively participating in a series of educationrich monthly transitiontopractice nursing professional development workshops. These workshops are designed to further enhance your knowledge and skills in the nursing field.
Throughout this program you will have the chance to establish strong and cohesive relationships with fellow participants in your assigned cohort. This supportive environment will encourage emotional connections and mutual growth.
As an integral part of your journey youll engage in insightful clinical discussions and interactive experiences facilitated by subject matter experts. These sessions will cover essential topics such as professionalism in nursing critical thinking patient outcomes as well as selfcare and wellbeing.
To provide you with personalized guidance and support the Nurse Residency Program Coordinator will offer individualized mentoring. This guidance will be instrumental in helping you navigate through the program successfully and develop into a skilled and confident nurse.
Shift Schedules: Full time (36 hours 3x12hour shifts)
Days 7:00am 7:00pm with weekend rotation

What Youll Need
Graduation from accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire per unit guidelines
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire per unit guidelines
