Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant (SEMH Support)
Location: Specialist Secondary School Hoddesdon Hertfordshire
Contract: Fulltime TermTime Only
Salary: per year (pro rata)
Start Date: September 2025
Are you a 2025 Psychology graduate looking to make a meaningful impact before pursuing further training or study in mental health education or therapy
This specialist secondary school supporting boys aged 1116 with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs is offering a fulltime Teaching Assistant opportunity for a graduate passionate about working directly with young people who require targeted support.
Youll join a dedicated and supportive team in a role thats both rewarding and challenging. Daytoday youll work closely with pupilsboth 1:1 and in small groupsto help them engage in learning manage emotions and build confidence. Youll also contribute to wider school life and benefit from experienced staff who understand the needs of pupils with SEMH.

- A Psychology degree (or expected degree) by summer 2025
- A genuine interest in child development behaviour and mental health
