The Repair Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Repair Manager and for the parts inventory control from receipt and inspection of the parts to location maintenance and supporting the Furniture Repair Technicians with parts requests
- Assist in the daily business of the repair shop including general administrative tasks such as printing service technicians trip sheets advising service technicians of address changes contact numbers etc.
- Coordinate the efficient operation of the office by maintaining general files and manuals and performing all other relevant duties for the Manager.
- Responsible for printing Service Repair Forms and Customer Repair Forms ensuring they are scheduled for repairs and ordering the necessary materials.
- Conduct basic research for management; compiles analyzes and summarizes information for reports and correspondence.
- Ensure that all assigned projects are completed promptly and efficiently and followup is done on all administrative duties.
- Receive and inspect parts including parts inventory reconciliation and daily parts prep for technician workflow.
- Identify and communicate damaged incorrect or missing parts as per Service Centre processes.
- Administer returned parts from the Furniture Repair Technicians including communication of parts status to appropriate service personnel.
- Assist with crosstraining initiatives to accommodate overflow and maximize the departments overall efficiency; focus on keeping up with repair practices and familiarity with product lines.
- Perform all assigned duties in compliance with internal standard operating procedures and external regulations.
