Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Strategic Leadership & Execution

• Serve as a core member of the executive leadership team to help define and drive the companys growth strategy.
• Lead longrange financial planning capital allocation and scenario modeling to guide key business decisions.
• Partner with the CEO and Board to prepare for future liquidity events including M&A rollups or secondary recapitalizations.

Financial Planning & Operations

• Oversee annual budgeting forecasting and monthly variance analysis across business units.
• Lead the development and implementation of financial systems and tools (e.g. NetSuite) to support scale and automation.
• Ensure timely accurate reporting of financial results including monthly close board packages and internal dashboards.

Accounting Compliance & Controls

• Own the accounting function and ensure full compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate all audit and tax processes including timely completion of annual audited financial statements.
• Manage risk insurance and corporate governance in partnership with legal counsel.

Capital Structure & Cash Management

• Manage cash flow treasury and banking relationships to optimize liquidity and working capital.
• Lead debt compliance and lender reporting ensuring adherence to covenant structures.
• Support equity and debt financing activities as needed.

M&A and Value Creation

• Drive all financial aspects of M&A including target evaluation diligence integration and synergy realization.
• Support strategic initiatives to increase EBITDA expand margins and improve capital efficiency.

• Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Software: Proficient in financial tools and ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite Excel FP&A platforms)
• Years of Experience: 5 years as CFO or senior finance leader in a SaaS or highgrowth environment
• Experience in private equitybacked companies including reporting and exit planning
• Strong understanding of debt financing quotetocash systems and valuation strategies
• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field (CPA or MBA a strong asset)

• Excellent communication and executive presence for Board and investor engagement
• Track record of building and mentoring highperforming finance teams

Location:

We are committed to finding the best candidate and are flexible regarding location. While Remsofts headquarters are in Fredericton New Brunswick and Ottawa Ontario we are open to a range of working arrangements for this role. Candidates can work fully remote in a hybrid setup or from our office.
