About the Role

Were seeking a fulltime Service Coordinator (76 hours/fortnight) to lead and support our team in delivering highquality personcentred services. This is a key leadership role that involves mentoring support workers coordinating service delivery and engaging with families and stakeholders.

Youll be based in our Maryborough office with oncall responsibilities.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Understanding of the NDIS relevant legislation practice standards and operational guidelines
  • Understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission and provider responsibility for reportable incidents
  • Ability to interpret legislation and apply in practice
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering services within disability sector in a leadership position minimum 1 year
  • Understanding and experience in high care supports
  • Understanding of Restrictive Practice and Positive Behaviour Support
  • Understanding and experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing risk management strategies
  • Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead and support a team including assisting rosters mentoring staff and assisting HRrelated performance management matters.
  • Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with participants families professionals and the broader community.
  • Competent and comfortable with technology
  • Ability to plan organise and participate in group activities events and travel logistics ensuring safety and meaningful experiences for service users.
  • Possession (or willingness to obtain) a relevant tertiary qualification Blue Card NDIS Worker Screening Check and a current QLD Drivers Licence.

Role Responsibilities

  • Team Coordination: Oversee day to day service delivery operations for assigned teams ensuring compliance with organisational policy and procedures
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships internally and externally facilitate and chair meetings with stakeholders
  • Plan Implementation: Provide guidance support and mentorship to teams to implement individualized support and care plans including positive behaviour support plans
  • Community Engagement: Build local networks to increase inclusion and meaningful participation.
  • Service Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and take steps to action act on feedback received from stakeholders to improve service delivery
  • Strategic Input: Participate in professional development and contribute to future planning.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect and analyse data to evaluate program effectiveness and prepare reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with service delivery ensuring a safe and effective working environment.
  • Incident Management: lodge 24 hour reportable incident notifications in line with NDIS guidelines and organisational policy and procedure
  • Conflict Resolution: Mediate disputes and provide guidance to staff participants families and stakeholders to maintain a positive and supportive environment.
  • Qualifications & Requirements

    • Relevant Tertiary Qualification (desirable)
    • Current QLD Drivers License
    • Willingness or ability to obtain:
    • Blue Card (Working with Children)
    • NDIS Worker Screening Check
