About This Role
We believe people should love what they do in this role you will be responsible for:
Providing engineering support on both next generation technologies and proven platforms that support and protect our deployed warfighter
Participating in hardware development of new products across all phases of the product lifecycle from concept development to lab integration and evaluation
Developing imaginative thorough practicable technical solutions to a wide range of difficult Mechanical Engineering problems.
Performing detailed design of mechanical structures and subsystems using solid modeling requirements analysis trade studies mechanical analysis including structural thermal and tolerance analysis and human interface design
Using computeraided design tools such as Unigraphics/NX FEA packages and MatLab
Working cohesively on a multifunctional team with exciting technologies and products
May lead guide & direct concept design and the work of others
Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Education/Experiences:
Level 2
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 2 years of related experience Masters Degree with 1 years related experience
Able to obtain/maintain a government secret security clearance
Level 3
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5 years of related experience Masters Degree with 3 years related experience
Ability to lead design efforts & project teams
Able to obtain/maintain a government secret security clearance
