PATH is seeking candidates passionate about helping others make a positive change in their lives to join our Compliance and Quality Improvement team as the Associate Director Data & Evaluation at the RHC Office.

ABOUT PATH
Since its foundation in 1984 PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) has pioneered bold and effective approaches to assist people experiencing homelessness. PATH operates services throughout California connecting our clients to a comprehensive continuum of homelessness prevention street outreach employment preparation and placement assistance individualized case management supportive services interim housing and permanent supportive housing.

ABOUT THE JOB
As part of the Compliance and Quality Improvement team the Associate Director Data & Evaluation ) is responsible for executing plans to use data and various analytical solutions to drive PATHs goals and influence strategy. The AD leads the design development and execution of data and solutions that support various programs by identifying key opportunities. This position also assesses and develops additional services to deliver robust data warehousing reporting visualization and analytics capabilities.

Position Responsibilities include:

  • Provide direction to the data team coordination of projects evaluation of priorities and professional development of the team.
  • Oversee and collaborate with business units and program leaders to manage data analytics data integrity integration reporting and analysis.
  • Continuously work to improve data accuracy completeness and uniqueness through efficient processes data appends and data monitoring.
  • Drive data fluency throughout the organization through the creation of standardized metrics intuitive dashboards and compelling business insights.
  • Drive proactive analysis of data that leads to strategic insights and decision making through rigorous analysis modeling and collaboration with internal stakeholders integrating understanding of key drivers and assumptions.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on priority performance metrics and benchmarks as a key part of strategy and innovation.
  • Closely monitor performance metric results against set targets and identify root causes of unmet targets.
  • Effectively present key data findings and results to executive and program leadership focusing on translating data into action.
  • Identify gaps and future needs in data and analytics tools and technology.
  • Partner with departments to identify appropriate reports key performance indicators and targets.
  • Partner with the development and communications teams to inform annual and longrange business strategies and reporting.
  • Prepare boardlevel presentation materials that include clear analysis of key metrics.
  • In collaboration with executive leadership develop an analytics roadmap that addresses the driving needs of PATH and where data is most likely to provide value.
  • Set and execute an infrastructure and tool roadmap that will enable analytics goals to be accomplished remaining abreast of the latest technologies and tools.
  • Assess reports currently delivered on a regular basis and reimagine automate or eliminate lowimpact work to make room for highervalue deliverables.
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge and training in all Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS) and internal data systems.
  • Provide database training and updates to staff.
  • Coordinate with program staff and database vendors regarding development and revision of all program setups program forms and protocols.
  • Complete and submit user access and termination forms.
  • Provide database support and problemsolve issues for staff and managers.
  • Regularly analyze reports produced from database systems.
  • Work with program staff to complete and correct data recorded in the database system.
  • Manage and serve as an agency administrator for data systems to ensure agency and funder compliance.
  • Collaborate with program staff to ensure a high level of data quality and accuracy.
  • Monitor and analyze data on programmatic and contractual goals and outcomes.
  • Report on program evaluation data elements by collecting information on a monthly quarterly and annual basis and sharing with leadership.
  • Collect and summarize program outcomes goal achievement.
  • Conduct program evaluations by utilizing qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
  • Produce monthly quarterly and annual performance reports for all program departments.
  • Support program staff in interpreting and using analysis for program improvement.
  • Produce data for report requests proposals and inquiries.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters degree in a related field.
  • Five (5) years of related job function or industry experience such as data management database administration performance evaluation research and nonprofit program administrations OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • One (1) year of supervisory experience.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Regardless of qualifications candidates must:

  • Have employment eligibility verification
  • Have or be able and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid training
  • Successfully complete the following as a condition of hire:
    • Tuberculosis Test
    • Background Screening
    • Drug Test

Driving is an essential function of this position. To meet the employment requirements for this role all candidates must:

  • Have reliable transportation
  • A valid drivers license
  • Proof of insurance and ownership for personal vehicles used during work duties
  • The ability to qualify for PATHs insurance coverage
