Beacon Systems Inc delivers Program Management Science Engineering and Technology Solutions to Federal Commercial State and Local Agencies. We are a subsidiary of Radiant Digital Solutions. Our Technology support to many DoD Agencies NASA Voice of America FDA and State Agencies such as State of FL RI MS ND VA and WV extends our delivery of solutions worldwide.
Position: Software Engineer
Duration: 12 Months plus
Location: Hybrid Dallas TX
Job Description:
Automated architecture with a focus on scalability and developer experience. As systems grow more complex theres a need to abstract functionality behind clean consumerfriendly APIsreducing cognitive load and enabling faster more autonomous delivery across teams.
Systems are written in C# or Python but we also have Go and Java. We utilise modern web distributed and big data technologies which means we have a broad range of software engineering challenges for the right person.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Focus is on experience and passion for systems integration enabling end to end platform solutions
- Designing and building solutions that drive value for our petabytescale data platform
- Continuously exploring and developing solutions to improve data and compute throughput at scale
- Demonstrating software engineering best practices
- Strong programming skills in C# and strong experience with typescript and TFE ideal

Primary languages: C# Python
Additional technologies: Go Java
Other tools: TypeScript TFE (likely Terraform Enterprise)
Front End React & Type Script
Database MySQL/POSTGRES
