Product Line:
Clean and repair of custom shell and tube heat exchangers for the refining and petrochemical industry.
Basic Function:
Ohmstede Ltd. is seeking a Leadman for the night shift that will oversee Hydroblasting activities during the night shift to ensure efficient and effective service provision. This position will coordinate with team members to complete tasks within tight deadlines and work closely with project Coordinators by providing shift updates on all progress completed.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise Night Shift Operations:
- Oversee hydroblasting activities during the night shift to ensure efficient and effective service provision.
- Coordinate with team members to complete tasks within tight deadlines.
- Work closely with project Coordinators by providing shift updates on all progress completed.
- Equipment Management:
- Operate and maintain hydroblasting equipment.
- Conduct preoperational checks and maintenance of machinery.
- Safety Compliance:
- Ensure the safe handling and usage of highpressure water systems.
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Document work activities and report any operational issues to Supervisor Coordinators or Operations Manager.
- Maintain proper records and documentation of all activities during the night shift.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Proven experience in an industrial or outdoor work environment preferably within the oil and gas industry.
- Familiarity with hydroblasting equipment and highpressure systems.
- Skills:
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- overhead crane operation
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and lift heavy equipment
- Comfortable working in variable weather conditions
