Job Description

As a member of the Life Enrichment team your goal each day is to serve the residents of our community in a meaningful and cheerful way. Customer services is a top priority as we work to bring fun and fulfillment to their lives. If you enjoy working in a small team interacting with people (especially seniors) and driving then this is the job for you! Details below.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport senior residents to doctors appointments and other places in a timely and disciplined manner.
• Load and unload wheelchairs and walkers from vehicle. Help residents into car or CDL bus and help residents out to their appointment.
• Plan and research driving routes for scenic drives. Narrate during the drive pointing out historic landmarks and vocalizingfun facts and history throughout the drive.
• Carry out complete pretrip inspection of vehicle to be used. Keep vehicles clean and vacuumed. Maintain drivers with road traffic law enforcement agency to all safety requirements.
• Assist in facilitation of other activities programs as need and as directed by the Life Enrichment Director.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with passenger endorsement preferred.
• Driving experience with company vehicle or company bus would be preferred.
• Desire to serve and help others
• clean background and drug free lifestyle
• Stellar teamwork skills
• Ability to plan and communicate in both written and spoken English
