Role Purpose
Developing and overseeing the Global IELTS exam process to ensure sustainable scalable efficient and effective service delivery.
Role Accountabilities
Experienced in leading endtoend service design and delivery with a focus on operational excellence stakeholder engagement and compliance. Skilled in managing complex blended processes with large teams while ensuring alignment with contractual obligations service level agreements and organizational policies. Proven track record in implementing service management frameworks driving quality and process improvements and ensuring seamless stakeholder communication. Adept at managing transitions knowledge transfer and project execution within defined timelines. Strong leadership in people management performance evaluation and employee engagement initiatives. Ensures strict adherence to information security standards (ISO 27001/22301) and governance protocols through effective risk identification reporting and compliance monitoring.
Role specific skills knowledge and experience
Minimum 810 years of experience managing largescale teams (80 staff) within secure operational environments with proven proficiency in process excellence supported by a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification. Desirably brings experience in exam operations within the educational fintech sector.
Further Information
Language: Strong English proficiency is crucial for this role requiring fluency in both written and spoken communication to effectively navigate British Council systems and international operations.
Education: A bachelors degree in any discipline is required.
Locally recruited : Applications are welcomed from candidates currently in this location with a natural right to work. Relocation support is not provided.
Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders will need have or be able to obtain a valid special work permit issued from Government of India (GOI) to work in the British High Commission (BHC). BHC will not be able to sponsor work visas or obtain/ assist with the special work permit from GOI. Offers of employment made to OCI card holders will be conditional upon candidates obtaining a special work permit.

Work Schedule: This is a 24/7 onsite role with rotating shifts including night shifts. The position offers two days off per week which may not always fall on weekends. Flexibility and adaptability to a continuous shiftbased environment are essential.
